Nano masks, nanofibre masks or nano fabric masks – all these terms refer to innovative protective and medical equipment containing at least one layer of a revolutionary nanofibre fabric.
Nanofibre fabric or simply nano fabric is made from natural polymer nanofibres which are invisible to the naked eye. The word nano refers to their small size: an average nanofibre is approximately 70.000 times thinner than a human hair. These miniature fibres are woven into fine, mesh-like membranes using the nanospider technology, a revolutionary Czech invention. The holes in this “mesh” are so small that they do not let through even really tiny particles such as viruses and bacteria, unlike protective equipment made from regular fabrics.
Our nanofibre masks are developed and dynamically innovated in line with the constantly changing needs defined by the gradual evolution of the coronavirus crisis. We cooperate intensively with top experts from the nanotechnology and academic field who help us with the development process. Nano2Mask Air Pro is the latest generation of cutting-edge nanofibre face masks with lamination, designed to offer maximum protection against SARS-CoV-2 to wearers as well as to the people around them. The nanofibre mask AirPro was developed in cooperation with Nano Medical, a company led by Ing. Marcela Munzarová who is an internationally recognised expert famous for her knowledge and innovative approach to the application of nanofibre structures.

Nano2Mask Fresh IIR is a cutting-edge nano mask developed in cooperation with Nafigate Park, a team of experts with more than 15 years of experience in the field of nanotechnology development. The extraordinary characteristics of the innovative protection have been proven by testing conducted at recognised institutions: Brno University of Technology and the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals at the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Nano2Mask Fresh IIR filters out particles of 80–150 nm in size with a 99% efficiency. It is highly breathable and very sturdy. Reinforced with lamination, the nanomembrane featured in the mask withstands even rough handling without losing any of its performance characteristics.

Nano2Mask Green is a brand new nanofibre mask from the family of patented Czech products, born from a cooperation between Nano2Health and NAFIGATE Park.
The ultra lightweight material and great breathability, which make for an exceptionally comfortable wear, are the result of a denser and thicker nanofibre layer. Thanks to the unique filtration and strength characteristics of the nano fabric we were able to modify the manufacturing process and abandon the application of meltblown fabric without compromising the filtration efficiency or any other key characteristics of the mask. By reducing the number of layers to three we managed to minimise the amount of material used, the waste, the logistics, and in turn also the overall carbon footprint.
